Agreement

These terms apply when you use texasheatchutneys.com or place an order with Texas Heat Chutneys, LLC. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Our products

We handcraft chutneys and meat pickles (achars) in small batches, made to order. Because everything is made by hand in small lots, color, texture, and heat can vary slightly from batch to batch. That variation is normal and is part of a handmade product.

Allergens and food safety

Our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles chilies, garlic, mustard, sesame, tree nuts, dairy, shellfish, and meat. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please contact us before ordering. Refrigerate after opening and consume within the timeframe noted on the jar.

Pricing and taxes

Prices are listed in US dollars and include applicable taxes — there are no hidden fees added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.

Shipping and local pickup

Shipping — $9.95 for the first jar, plus $3.00 for each additional jar. We ship across the United States.
Local pickup (DFW) — free. Choose local pickup at checkout and we will email or text you to arrange a convenient spot and time.
Orders are made fresh, so please allow preparation time before your order ships. We will let you know your ship or pickup window.
Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery timing is outside our control. We are not responsible for carrier delays.

Custom orders

Custom blends require a minimum of 2 jars and are made specifically for you. We will confirm flavor, spice level, pricing, and timing by email before preparing your order. Because custom batches are made to your specification, they cannot be cancelled once preparation has begun.

Returns, damage, and refunds

For food safety reasons we cannot accept returns of opened food products. If something arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, contact us at texasheatchutneys@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will make it right with a replacement or refund.

Cancellations and address accuracy

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order; we can usually help if preparation has not started. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we are not responsible for orders delivered to an address entered incorrectly.

Payments

Card payments are processed securely by Square. We do not receive or store your card details. Zelle is also available — email us and we will send our Zelle QR code.

Catering and events

Catering, festival, and event orders are arranged individually. Details, pricing, deposits, and timing will be confirmed in writing before the event.

Our content

The Texas Heat Chutneys name, logo, product photography, recipes, and website content belong to Texas Heat Chutneys, LLC and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
